This is an opportunity to work with one of the longest-running businesses in Fresno in their mission to help farmers throughout the state of CA improve their economic return simultaneously with their environmental footprint. Recent scientific developments have revealed the critical role soil biology plays in crop production and the oversights the industry has made in emphasizing chemical inputs to optimize yield and quality. Penny Newman has developed an innovative portfolio of crop inputs that outperform the results of "status quo" chemical fertility by facilitating the propagation of soil microorganisms. These products integrate seamlessly with standard farming systems and protocols and are growing rapidly in their popularity. Penny Newman is looking for open-minded and ambitious candidates that are not only eager to learn about this new paradigm, but willing to get their hands dirty and do the work that needs to be done in order to provide top-tier service to our growers. We won't sugar coat it, a lot of this is grunt work but will provide an exceptional lens into a diverse array of farming operations in addition to the opportunity to learn about the most effective and environmentally friendly mode of crop production developed to date.
